Perfect, for the Collector Who Can't Decide
In Response To: Re: Paintless wonder...... ()

OK, I love the blue . . . I wear blue oxford shirts to work, have blue paint in my office and admire the colors at the beach.

But the fume / smoke is also nice . . . it's different from all the other colors, and certainly has a "vintage" feel about it.

So which will it be, the blue or the brown . . . do I want my Silverstone from the usual palette or maybe I should try something a bit different? what to do, what to do, what to do?

Ah ha!! Nic has offered the perfect compromise . . . I can have my blue and my brown, all at the same time!!

An elegant solution, Nic! Thanks for sharing this one.

: Nice one Nic.
: We're starting to see a series of blue dial paint failures from the
: Heuer range now. Chronomatic Monaco, Trans Monaco, Cal.15
: Monaco, Daytona and Silverstone.
: It seems the brassing effect is lesser under the start position for
: the chrono register hands on your Silvrstone - am i right?
: If so could you show a photo of the dial with the chrono stopped at
: the 6 hour 15 min mark so we can see the "shaded" area
: under the chrono hands.
: Cheers for these great interesting photo's.
