We all start somewhere, and that is usually with one watch (unless you're mad or exuberant enough to buy lots in one go - fine later on, perhaps, but I wouldn't recommend starting a collection like that).

Mine started with probably the least tidy Carrera featured on OTD:

Nicely featured there against one of my oldest maples too. Part of the fun of collecting watches is seeing the collection grow from that beginning, just as it was with the maple. Yes, I am aware maples don't grow from acorns, I'm just not afraid of mixing metaphors :)
