Normally skip those Dealers

I have had the recent experience of contacting a well known dealer that list most if not all
of their watches for further inquiry. I contacted the dealer, and the response was what do you offer ?
I never responded to that reply.
Another time the same dealer had a watch I was very interested in, and this one had a price.
I thought the price to be 30-40% high. I never heard back, then the watch posted changed to
further inquiry. I dropped my interest.
All in all, I beleive that the prices should be posted. I do not waste my time any longer.
In this age, with many of us buying on line, we want to see prices and react.

: OK, folks, here's a topic for discussion: How do you react
: when a dealer uses the "Price Upon Inquiry" approach,
: either on a few selected watches on his website or for all the
: watches (either in a category or across the website)? How
: likely or unlikely are you to seek information about an
: interesting watch, when this is the label? Can you suggest a
: good reason for dealers to use this approach on the vintage
: Heuers, either across-the-board or for particular models? Let's
: see how our readers, likely among the most active Heuer
: collectors, react to this approach. We may have covered this
: previously, but if so, it's been a long time and some conditions
: in the market may have changed.
