Stewart - as far as I can tell the only distinguishing factor about the Viceroy is the V above the 1163 engraved between the lugs. The Viceroy also featured the Tachy bezel and I would guess that the majority would house a cal 12 movement. The dial and hands are the same as the later 1163 MH which also has the white stripe in the hour markers. The confusing thing is that you can obviously get a Tachy bezel on a 1163 without the V on the case. Is that a Viceroy as well? Maybe someone else can clear than one up.
