Thanks alot for the advice

to my eye, the Verona looks like a fatter
: version of the Carrera. case has the same
: traditional shape / lugs . . . it's just
: deeper, to accomodate the Cal 12 movement.

: Most days, I prefer the Autavia to the Carrera,
: so maybe a vintage Autavia would fit the
: bill. It's definitely larger than the Jack
: Heuer Carrera, but keeps the traditional
: lay-out of the dial)as compared to the
: Lemania 5100-powered Heuers. The 70's era
: Autavias (like the two "Sifferts"
: shown below) will be larger in every
: dimension; the manual-wind Autavias will be
: about the same thickness as the Carrera, but
: the rotating bezel will give it more
: diameter.

: Here is the recommended game-plan. Exchange the
: Jack Heuer Carrera for the Autavia re-issue.
: If you enjoy the re-issue Autavia, then
: consider moving into the vinatge Autavias.

: Please keep us informed of your progress.

: Thanks,

: Jeff
