Re: Omega USA in NJ - Poor Service
In Response To: Omega USA in NJ - Poor Service ()

I've posted here about a couple problems with my Speedy Date that were a result of my bonehead actions. Once I set the date at 12am (I had put the watch on in the morning for the first time in a few days and hadn't realized that it was am and not pm that I was setting to). That resulted in the date sticking. I also swam in the ocean with my watch on and it was totally f****d up with water damage. Both times I packed it up and sent it to the Swatch Group service center in Tokyo (I live in Tokyo) and both times it came back as good as new, free of charge (my warranty expires in November).
I guess it's true when people say that different service centers have different levels of service. What happened to John's watch is unbelievable.
