Poor Service
In Response To: Omega USA in NJ - Poor Service ()

Don't think for a minute that poor service is limited to Omega NJ.

I sent a Canon camera to their Chicago repair site because of a dark spot on the LCD screen. When it came back it had a document that stated the camera had been restored to its original condition and fully examined before shipemnt. When the camera returned it had a big piece of dirt between the LCD and the plastic cover and 2 large scratches on the cover which weren't there when I sent it in. This necessitated a request for a return RMA. So, in the 1 year warranty period I will have been without the camera for about 6 weeks. Seems like the service managers for these facilities must have attended the same training school.
