This is not true for my manual. While the manual does cover the operation of all watches, the Co-Axial is singled out in the warranty section from all others in that it is covered for 3-years and the others for 2. So the current manuals at least do specify Co-Axials as being different in that respect. But the service interval is 4-5 years for all.
