Re: Flaw in radial graining effect?

It's funny really. When I initially spoke to the service department at Eastleigh, I more or less got a slap on the wrist for not returning the watch to the point of purchase.

This was in spite of my explaining that they would get the watch one way or another (either from the AD or myself). I was then told that the "contract" (and I quote) "was with the AD, not Omega, Eastleigh." Funny that,as if that were the case, imagine the problems that we would all have in flying back to the airport terminals where we bought the watch, or to the city, indeed country of purchase. I thought the whole point of an INTERNATIONAL guarantee/warranty was for such cases as these (albeit it all happened on the UK mainland).

One has to be firm and direct with the corporate machine nowadays. Do as John is and go straing to the top. It is abundantly clear that although the ADs may look out for its customers (mine was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction) Omega could not give two hoots about their customers...just as long as they get their precious 55% of each watch....
