I guess my point wasn't one of the prices that these- or other Heuers- collect in the market today, but more how unusual it is to see 4 of these watches on sale within a week of each other. How many have we seen over the last few years? To me its a sign to be cautious with bidding on any of these, as there just aren't that many around.

Your point on prices however is certainly right in that I believe the main reason that the ford LCD has such a high value is its rarity. Four in one week says that they're not that rare. And yes, there is a bit of a myth about the number of Diver 100s. I believe we've seen at least 5 of these sold either here or on E-bay in the last 6-7 months. Rare yes, but not as rare as those who own them (like me!) would like you to think
