Re: Auction of McQueen's Monaco . . . Looks Like the Real Th

Yes it looks like however there is no proof either, it is a nice story though.., if that is the real thing the property master watches were never touched by Steve and the Guy kept two Monacos for 40 years which were not used by Steve ?
David whats your view on that ?
Because If I remember correctly the property master confirmed in writing that he was selling Steves watch from the set ?!
I wonder who at TAG would know about how many watches were delivered to Le Mans if Gerd RĂ¼diger Lang had brought these over from Germany, which was confirmed by Jack Heuer during our last collectors meeting in Switzerland ?!

Jeff could you post please the Rolex of Steve ?

Cheers
Arno

: With apologies for the quick and dirty reproduction of the pages
: from the auction catalog, I thought that readers would like to
: see the description of (one of) McQueen's Monaco(s), being
: auctioned by Antiquorum, next week. This is a very interesting
: story, and it will be just as interesting to see the price that
: this one fetches.

: I hope that readers will give their views, but this one looks like
: the "real thing" to me.

: Thoughts? Views? Concerns? Estimates? Etc., etc.?
