I knew Danny and Jimmy from the "Great Western Show" at the Pomona fairgrounds. I'm not sure how to describe them other than to say "rich kids". I was at the Kruse auction of "their" collection, as a bidder in 2001. I spent a day digging through cars like the hero car for Professor Fate from "The Great Race" and others. I pawed through the legacy of Von Dutch - who was ostensibly "taken care of" by the Bruckers. The whole thing was a sad affair. I would admit that I know nothing about Steve or his Rolex or his relationship with the Bruckers, but I would certainly want some other confirmation of authenticity before investing in something of this value.
