For example, several months ago, we saw some NOS Silverstone dials, bezels and cases sold on ebay, as sets. If our friendly dealer / watchmaker finds some non-NOS movements, and some service (or original) hands, and makes up a couple of these nice red or blue Silverstones, what are they worth (say, compared to a "true NOS" Silverstone, which was fully made by Heuer, back in 1975)?

If the true NOS Silverstone might be worth $5,000 to $6,000, how do you value the recently-assembled NOS Silverstone? At a 5% discount / 30% discount? When it comes time to sell one of these, can we expect the seller to describe it properly? In our collective experience, how many of these have we ever seen described, as such? I believe that you are giving sellers the benefit of the doubt, where we have not seen much in the way of full disclosure.
