Time for Webpage on These Redials

OK, team . . . when we are seeing these daily, then it's time for a webpage showing people how to spot the redials. I probably have some good enough images of original ones OnTheDash, and on my C-drive, but if any of you have high resolution photos of original dials (in the blue version), please post them here or send them to me by e-mail. The two below (from Shaun) are both original and show us how the color of these dials can change, over time.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

: Hi there & welcome aboard!

: Yes as Jeff & Paul say this is a redial and seeing as much of
: the value and collectability of vintage watches is tied up in te
: dial it would not be a wise watch to purchase because of this.

: The paint finish and all details including size and positioning of
: the script are incorrect. Actually looks as though they kept the
: original sub reg on this one and of course the hour markers and
: hands are original.

: There is a very good chance the seller has no idea so i shouldnt
: think they are trying it on, these redials fool pretty much all
: non Heuer collectors and probably a fair few of us still!

: Check my website out, looking at the original dials in detail,
: makes the "issues" easier to spot.

: Cheers
