Aha!! What About Kodak or Polaroid??

while their cameras never competed with the Nikons and Canons of the world, one can certainly shed a tear when we see the current line of $79 Kodak Easy Share cameras, in place of the old-time racks of Kodachrome and Kodacolor film. Certainly a company that lost its way, or got overtaken while it stood still, in its line of cameras and film.

and how about those wonderful old Polaroid cameras!! Who can remember the miracle of seeing a decent color photo in three minutes!!

: As is so often our habit, I fear that we are being overly
: analytical . . . the ebbs and flows between BMW and Audi are
: interesting, and with a fine pencil we can diagram it.

: But I want to see a really fine, high-end, high-quality product (or
: entire brand) that became really awful, and never recovered (to
: this day).

: Come on guys . . . I am writing a review of the Cal 1887 Carrera,
: for International Watch magazine, and this is your chance to
: inspire a sentence (or two)!!

: Thanks in advance!!
