Re: Summary of the summary with mock-up
In Response To: Our Best Expert Has Confirmed ()

Having read all the replies I am still confused. The serial number is 84608. As far as I was aware and please correct me if I am mistaken, this is in the same range as a 1st execution case & 2nd execution dial Autavia with dauphine hands. The bezel also conforms to that execution and so does the example shown by Amran. The only difference on this one are the hands which the owner states are original. This is entirely possible.
I have therefore made a mock-up of this and one in the 2nd execution screw back Autavia case which I believe Paolo was referring to. I believe its Option A but happy to be corrected and told of the error of my ways. Two further points on this - my personal view is that it looks better as Option B and secondly, it seems to have some connection to Australia. I made the assumption that the example DC presented is in Oz, Amran is in Oz and I was offered a dial like this from a watchmaker in Oz. If all this is correct maybe it should be called the Oztavia.

regards
Paul
