: What is the general consensus on buying a watch

Hundreds of Transactions, the vast majority have been very positive, quite a few indifferent, and a small fraction have left an aftertaste in my mouth. Some transactions require a great deal of work to end up in the positive column, many are a breeze, and a few, well, you learn from them.

I wouldn't have the collection I have today without eBay and quite a bit of nerve. Educate yourself, ask a lot of questions of the seller and in forums and heed the advice that others have mentioned within this thread. eBay can be a boon or a headache, strive always to maximize the former while trying to eliminate the latter.

GOOD HUNTING!
