Re: Nominal charge?
In Response To: Nominal charge? ()

: The nominal charge for servicing the Omega
: should be about 60% of the Rolex charge. But
: it is the Christmas season; can't we all
: just get along. I've got both (and
: Breitling) and like them both or would not
: have bought them. Like John said, I would
: prefer to get the items in any of those
: lineups that has the best movement or a
: great track record. I love the passion on
: this subject and what a fight it would start
: on the Rolex forun at TZ.

I like the passion expressed by all who have contributed, it shows how much we all like mechanical (and for some quartz) watches. I own 4 Omegas, one SMP (3 vintage)and a few Zeniths. I bought a Rolex Sub yesterday, love it. But I will still wear my Omegas as well - all involve the same joy and wonder to me, but just reflect my mood at the time as to which I choose to wear. I have to say my 1957 Omega is a knockout!

Merry Christmas to all and the hard decision of which watch to wear on Christmas day!
