I will take the rolex over an AP and a Patek
In Response To: Re: Rolex Service ()

/Hi John

The Rolex has a far better movement than the Patek which has a micro rotor and an overfragile gyromax balance. The AP Royal Oak has a jaeger le coultre 889/2 based movement. The 889 is a delicate movement. The Rolex blows the doors of the two movements in terms of very long term durability, shock resistance and over the long run accuracy. You have another solutiuon which to have a vintage Omega constellation with cal 561 which is a better timekeeper than some Rolex models because its movement was awarded with especially good mention during cosc in 1965.

georges
