All I can add to that is :- Contact either John Rochiwicz or Turbinator ( they both regularly post on this forum ). They will both recommend (different) dealers who will give you a great discount on a new Speedmaster Pro ( Over the phone ). & come to think of it Chuck himself can also recommend a good dealer.

Use part of this discount to buy a cheap dive watch & then you're laughing :-)

The way I look it swimming in the sea & a precious watch.... IF you get water damage, the cost of repairing that will probably FAR exceed the cost of a cheap dive watch.

I see Chuck has recommended an Invicta. I personally would & have got a cheap Citizen or a cheap Seiko. BOTH firms offer amazing watches for not a lot of money.

That's the way I'd play it.
