Re: Serial Number is from Chronomatic Range

Hi Jeff,

Thank for your message....
And sure this is a correct serial number for the chronomatic Autavia but what I told Alex is correct too...
The original seller don't say all in first but this morning he confirm(arHHHHHHH), he exchanged the case for another in better condition...And, correct again the case was re-lustrage before...not polished but just an re-lustrage for the beauty of the watche....

I understand that's very important for somes HEUERMAN, but for my, same if the value can be low to 10% maybe, the watche is really really beautiful...And with original dial, tritium, and all the items are original from heuer...

All the best at all

Thank again Jeff for all your help...

Anthony

: Alex:

: How do you say that this one is only a Chronomatic dial, and was
: rebuilt from a "normal Siffert"? Serial number is from
: the very narrow Chronomatic range, and not in the range of the
: "normal" production Sifferts, so it appears that the
: dial and the case are both authentic.

: Maybe the case has been polished; maybe the movement has been
: updated . . . but we know that this often happened in routine
: service jobs, before these watches became "holy" and
: untouchable among the collectors.

: We can have open discussions, but we should be very careful with
: the accusations.
