Based on Some Twitter Messages, View of Longines . . . seems to be that

  • Longines made some fine chronographs, that are well-appreciated by the enthusiasts / knowledgeable collectors
  • The brand hurt itself by becoming a "mall brand", in the recent past
  • some interesting re-issues over the past few years.
If there is one brand that has run parallel to Heuer, maybe it would be Longines. But I'm not sure that there has been the recent uptick in Longines?

My questions: Where is the Longines collecting community? Do they have a gathering place -- forum, blog, website, get-together?
