The 1st that got away!!

I got to this late, for what it's worth it was a great piece that was massively overlooked because it was in the wrong auction. If Aurel had it at the 88 watch sale can you imagine what it would have sold for. I wanted to buy it but couldn't get into their site so I tried ringing during the sale but their phones went through to answer machine - can you believe that - in the middle of a sale they don't answer their phones!!! In truth I was only going to bid to about £50K all in and the buyer probably would have gone higher than me - who knows- but I'm very seriously p****d off at not being able to bid for it because that watch was the real deal, the next one of that quality will NOT get away so lightly.
Now I feel better!!
