more about rolex

The calibre 3000 was never a big rolex reference, more a source of trouble than something else.Rolex movements have shown their superiority to their competitors at chronometric competitions that happened in Kew Teddington, Geneva and Bienne observatories.Rolex was awarded with A certificate by the Kew Teddington Observatory in 1908 at that time Eta was not even at this level of accuracy and excellence, only Omega, Longines and Zenith have many world records of precisions. Andrew Babanin is an independant he gives just advice about how make the rolex live longer even if many watchmakers (independant and belonging to rolex) that I encountered said that a rolex can live fairly without the 5 years service period but with a 7-10 years service interval.
The calibres 1570/1575/1585/,3030/3035/3085 and 3130/3135/3185 are references when it comes to self winding chronometers. They are better than etas and probably better than a jlc movements, jusk ask any watchmaker what is the most accurate and most durable movement, the answer will be rolex.Rolex is a manufacture which means it produces movements, cases, dials, crowns and glass that results at the end of a fully manufactured watch. Eta is a subcontractor which means that it builds milllions of movement that it modifies and delivers movements for other firms but it is nothing close to a fully manufactured movements in terms of accuracy and durability.
