That's interesting Eddie, that you have liked the Heuers for so long but only relatively recently been able to act on that. I guess I too had an acquired interest in them back from when the name adorned the F1 Ferraris, but it's not something I dwelled on much or at all until the idea popped into my head more or less fully formed one day to go out and buy a vintage Carrera.

I trust the first one lived up to your expectations? Or did it take another one to seal the love affair and you wished that had been the first after all?! I reckon it's nice to have the anticipation but not sure everyone could hold onto it for long and still keep the interest. I mean, that's longer even than the gap from when I decided what I wanted for my first car and buying it! And luckily that lived up to expectations too.
