Fair comments.

TAG-Heuer are no better, and no worse, than other watch manufacturers at churning out a load of marketing guff when launching a new watch/movement/hugely overpriced mobile phone. I'm not convinced anyone apart than other marketeers pays much attention to it at the time (and avid forum readers apparently) and even fewer will remember it a year later.

If we get some nice watches out of it, that are truer to their forebears than some of the current models, then that is a good thing and is what we will remember down the line.
