Hello OnTheDash, and...

thank You Jeff Stein for the invitation to join in the debate over here. I see that like the dialogue here has been quite engaging as well!

I will not carry on any more, but just wanted to say that it has become clear that one thing is for sure - the reaction to this subject has become overwhelmingly greater than I ever anticipated!

Clearly TAG Heuer has very committed enthusiasts with passionate opinions. I think this vigorous debate will benefit everyone in the long run.

Thanks and best wishes,
Kyle Stults

: Fair comments.

: TAG-Heuer are no better, and no worse, than other watch
: manufacturers at churning out a load of marketing guff when
: launching a new watch/movement/hugely overpriced mobile phone.
: I'm not convinced anyone apart than other marketeers pays much
: attention to it at the time (and avid forum readers apparently)
: and even fewer will remember it a year later.

: If we get some nice watches out of it, that are truer to their
: forebears than some of the current models, then that is a good
: thing and is what we will remember down the line.
